Seized Vehicle

Good afternoon,

On Friday 15th May 2026, officers from Beam Park Ward, working in partnership with Rainham & Wennington and South Hornchurch teams, conducted a vehicle stop on Ellis Avenue.

During the stop, it was established that the driver was operating the vehicle without valid insurance. The driver has been reported for summons to court for the offence.

This type of proactive policing is vital in maintaining road safety and protecting the wider community. Drivers without insurance pose a significant risk to other road users, as they are not held financially accountable in the event of a collision. Uninsured driving is often linked to other criminal activity, and removing such drivers from the road helps to prevent further offences, reduce harm, and ensure that the roads remain safe for law-abiding members of the public.
